Circle-Art

I love the circular form. I use images and symbols from magic, alchemy, spirituality, and religion. I find that certain symbols are highly charged and adding them to a piece, or setting them in opposition to one another, increases the impact an image has on me.

My art ranges from doodles and simple designs to more esoteric topics including the illustration of metaphor and complex systems. In the spirit of Jung I try to reproduce symbols of the unconscious and believe that there is a therapeutic effect to be gained by expressing ideas visually that don’t have a solid foundation in language, or have not quite found expression in the conscious mind. I believe that not only can a picture be worth a thousand words, but can convey ideas that don’t have any words.
